Prof. Dr. Astrid an Huef (University of Wellington) will give a talk entitled "C^∗-algebras of quasi-lattice ordered groups" at the Colloquium Wilhelm Killing on 5 June 2025. The talk takes places at 2:15 pm in lecture hall M4. Tea time starts at 3:15 pm in the Cluster Common Room.

Our summer school in stochastic analysis will feature lectures by leading experts in the field. The programme will cover modern aspects of stochastic analysis, pertaining to the long-time analysis of dynamical systems. Topics of interest will include, e.g., interacting particle systems and scaling limits. The school is designed for young researchers, offering an opportunity to interact with other researchers and young mathematicians in the field.

The purpose of the meeting is to study relationships between local and global invariants in Riemannian Geometry. Our intention is to bring together experts in the field as well as young mathematicians.

The interaction between probability, dynamics and group theory is an active and growing area of research with exciting recent developments. The goals of this autumn school are to expose young researchers to the diverse set of available tools in these areas, to facilitate collaborations and to stimulate new interactions.
