    DOCTORAL and POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

    Gain transparency on possible paths to academic independence or a permanent position in the science sector in Germany. Understand how formal structures, implicit rules, and biases in the German academic system influence individual researchers. Learn to integrate the knowledge of diverse aspects (e.g., gender, culture) into your personal behaviour and communication. Improve your ability to implement self-presentation and networking tips to support your career success.

    DOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

    In this workshop, you will learn to articulate and integrate core ethical principles into your daily research practices and distinguish between various forms of "bad" scientific practices, including misconduct. You will explore what constitutes effective supervisory and mentoring relationships, assess collaboration challenges and their impacts, and develop strategies to navigate complex dilemmas while upholding good scientific practice.

    In diesem Workshop lernen Sie den Aufbau und das Ziel eines Exposés kennen und arbeiten Ihr eigenes Erkenntnisinteresse zwischen Fokus und Ergebnisoffenheit heraus. Sie visualisieren und fokussieren Ihre Themen, prüfen auf Lücken in der Planung und entwickeln eine starke, überzeugende Sprache. Zudem reflektieren Sie Ihre eigenen Ansprüche an Ihre Dissertation, um klare Ziele zu setzen.

    DOCTORAL and POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

    In this workshop, you will learn to maintain audience attention, personalize your speech by connecting science with storytelling, and translate complex data into meaningful messages. You will explore insights from exceptional science presentations and align your communication style with intercultural needs, benefiting from quick content inputs and an interactive Q&A session. For participants attending the virtual coaching session, there is a video analysis, collaborative group work, and a second presentation opportunity to apply feedback.

    DOCTORAL and POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

    In this workshop, you will explore the cognitive and emotional processes underlying procrastination and identify facilitating conditions and personal behavioral patterns using self-selected examples. Using the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM®), an evidence-based method that integrates conscious desires and unconscious needs, you will develop individual prevention and response strategies.
