Marius Ritter

Research Assistant

Marius Ritter joined the ELE Team as a PhD candidate in 2019, after completing his Master’s in Primary School Education at the University of Münster. His dissertation topic is linked to the  QLB-Project “Videobasierte Lehrmodule als Mittel der Theorie-Praxis-Integration” and focuses on researching the use of classroom video in English language teacher-training. Since 2023, he is also working as a Research Assistant in the BMBF-Project "Game On!"  And responsible for planning and designing in-practice teacher courses for teaching language with Video Games. His main research interests are the fostering of speaking competencies in primary and early secondary school English education, the use of digital media in the classroom, as well as the field of game studies.
