Faculty representative for students with disabilities
At the faculty level, representatives are designated to help students with disabilities with subject-specific issues and questions concerning studying with a disability.
In this role, they fulfil various tasks, including:
- providing subject-specific advice to (prospective) students with disabilities regarding accessible study options in their faculty
- supporting students with disabilities in applying for and obtaining compensation for disadvantages in connection to required coursework and degree-relevant examinations
- advocating for suitable measures that create inclusive study conditions (including building/room accessibility, accessible teaching and learning materials)
- raising awareness of the topic of studying with disabilities within their faculty
