We especially thank you for supporting the following projects:
The Crisis Fund of the University of Münster supports students who are facing financial hardship due to the current crises. The University management, the University of Münster Foundation, the Alumni-Club and AStA (General Students’ Committee) are jointly calling for donations to the Crisis Fund.
From 2020 to 2022, numerous donors supported the Corona Emergency Fund and came quickly and generously to the side of students who have lost their part-time jobs and faced existential hardship due to the Corona crisis.
"Through my company I have been supporting the ProTalent scholarship programme since it was established in 2011. I feel it is important to help promote talented and dedicated students along their career paths. As an entrepreneur from Münster, it means a lot to me to stay in contact with the University and its junior academics in this way."
Matthias Lückertz, CEO at Lückertz Reisebüro GmbH
“As a sponsoring partner of the Q.UNI Camp, my company helps to rouse children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for science and research in a playful way. It’s wonderful to see how much fun and what joy experimenting and tinkering in scientific phenomena can offer in these early years.”
Wolfgang Hölker, owner and publisher of the Coppenrath Verlag, Honorary Consul of the University of Münster
“My studies at the University of Münster laid the foundation for my professional career. Through the Friends of Münster University, I have been able to remain in close contact with the University. After all, the University and LVM Versicherung are not just neighbours, but in many ways, also partners. The diversity of research and teaching, and the promotion of academic talent are especially important to me.”
Jochen Herwig, former Chairman of the Board of LVM Versicherung, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Universitätsgesellschaft Münster e. V. (Friends of Münster University)
“I continue to enjoy a close relationship to my university through the Alumni Club WWU Münster. That’s why I support the Alumni Club in their efforts to promote especially hard-working and talented students. In this way, as an alumna, I can do my part to help the current generation of students.”
Hanna Scholle, alumna of the University of Münster and sponsor of the Alumni Club
