The University of Münster is committed to ensuring the highest degree of mobility and accessibility inside and between University buildings as possible. Below, you will find the most important information about parking facilities, building access and special equipment.

  The University of Münster offers a campus map with basic information on accessibility to buildings and wheelchair accessible lavatories.

• Parking facilities

  The standard EU parking permit for severely disabled persons does not entitle you to park in University-marked parking spaces. Students with mobility impairments can apply for a parking permit that entitles them to use University parking spaces. Requests can be submitted directly to Dept. 4 - Facility Management.

• Quiet rooms

  For students who need a place to retreat, quiet rooms are available in some faculties and central buildings. You can learn where these are located from the faculty-level equal opportunity representatives for disabled students.

• 'Toilet for All’

  For many people with disabilities, wheelchair-friendly toilet facilities are usually inadequate. Students with severe disabilities, in particular, are rarely able to spend long periods of time studying at one location. The ‘Toilet for All’ in the faculty library at the School of Business and Economics is a project by the University of Münster that allows all students to pursue a normal everyday study routine. It goes well beyond the current building regulations on accessibility.
