Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize

With the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize, the German Research Foundation (DFG) has recognised the outstanding academic achievement of early career researchers since 1977. Endowed with 200,000 euros, the prize aims to encourage further excellent research from researchers who have already established their own profile and whose research findings have drawn the attention of the scientific community. The prize is awarded to ten researchers each year.
