Diversity Prize of the University of Münster
The University of Münster recognises innovative projects and measures that contribute to the development and sustainable establishment of an equitable and inclusive campus environment and organisational culture. To this end, the University will award an institution-wide Diversity Prize which comes with a prize money of 20,000 Euros. It was awarded for the first time in 2024 and subsequently every two years. It is presented by the Rector to individual members, groups of members, work areas, institutions, departments or faculties of the University of Münster.
The Diversity Prize is intended to promote projects and measures:
- which can only be implemented with the support of the prize money;
- which have already been carried out or launched and can be repeated or continued with the support of the prize money;
- which have already been completed (within the past two years) on the condition that the prize money be used for further diversity-related measures or projects.
