The postdoctoral programme "Migration, Diaspora, Citizenship" (MDC) is an initiative of the University of Münster funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie funding line of the European Union. It calls for applications from researchers from the social sciences and humanities with a strong interdisciplinary profile to join their programme.
The results of the last call for proposals of joint projects (3/2023) with the Brazilian state agency FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) as part of the FAPESP/SPRINT-Uni Münster funding programme are now announced. On 27 March 2024, Professor Dr Dr h. c. Hans-Uwe Erichsen, former Rector of the University of Münster and Professor Emeritus of Public Law, European Law and Administrative Law, was honoured for his extraordinary services to German-Brazilian relations at the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin.
The winning team of the 2nd German-Brazilian EdTech Hackathon, held in 2023 in São Paulo, received a 2,000 euro travel grant to enable one of its members to travel to Germany. The city of Rio de Janeiro was chosen to host the seventh edition of the annual Alumni Meeting of the University of Münster in Brazil.
