2003-2009 Studies (diploma degree) in journalism and business administration at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in Spain (2006-2007). 2009-2012 Research Assistant at the Department of Communication, University of Münster. 2012-2015 Ph.D. scholarship awarded by the Universität Bayern e.V. Research and teaching visits to Uppsala Universitet (2011) and the Media Management and Transformation Centre at Jönköping International Business School in Sweden (2015). 2015-2021 Research Assistant at the School of Journalism, Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (parental leave starting 05/2019). 2019 Ph.D. in Communication Science on „Creativity in entertainment production as a functioning principle and analytical approach. The social practice of producing fictional and non-fictional television entertainment broadcasts“. 2020-2022 Lecturer at the Department of Communication and the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna. 2021-2023 Communication Officer at the Centre for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science (CeMESS), University of Vienna. Working as a freelance journalist, science writer, media trainer, and communication consultant. Since May 2023 Research Associate in the research unit „Forms and Processes of Public Communication“ headed by Prof. Dr. Julia Metag.
