Helena Stehle elected to the editorial board of the journal SCM - Studies in Communication and Media

(08.04.2025) The open access journal of the German Society for Journalism and Communication Studies (DGPuK) and affiliate journal of the International Communication Association (ICA) has appointed Prof. Dr. Helena Stehle from the Department of Communication at the University of Münster as a new member of the editorial board.

Prof. Dr. Helena Stehle was elected as a new member of the editorial board of the journal SCM together with Prof. Dr. Marko Bachl (FU Berlin) at the DGPuK General Assembly, which took place on 20 March 2025 as part of this year's annual conference at the FU Berlin. They succeed Prof. Dr. Julia Metag, who also works at the IfK at the University of Münster, and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Thummes (University of Greifswald) and have been elected for four years. One of the tasks of the editorial board is to review submitted manuscripts together with the editorial team and to coordinate the direction of the journal. 

The journal SCM represents the entire theoretical, methodological and content-related breadth of communication science and is published four times a year.
