Faculty mobility

In addition to students, lecturers at the department can also benefit from the IfK's cooperation agreements. The ERASMUS programme "Mobility for teaching purposes" ("Mobilität zu Unterrichtszwecken") (or STA for "staff teaching agreement") supports guest lectureships of one to six weeks with our European partners. The prerequisite is that at least 8 teaching hours are completed during the stay abroad. All professors, academic staff and research assistants who work in teaching are eligible to apply. Further information (e.g., on funding amounts or the formal procedure) can be found here.

In addition to guest lectureships, research stays can also be funded. However, these are not included in the ERASMUS programme. Information on the funding programmes can be found here on the website of the International Office.

The Coordinator for International Affairs will be happy to answer any questions you may have about teaching and research stays.
