English for university staff III: Confident professional communication (B2+/C1)
Zielgruppe: Die Fortbildung richtet sich an Beschäftigte mit erweiterten und guten Englischkenntnissen, die auch neue und komplexe Aufgaben auf Englisch lösen. Sollten Sie nicht über Auslandserfahrung oder umfangreiche Routine im beruflichen Englischgebrauch verfügen, sollten Sie zunächst den EfUS II Kurs besuchen.
The third part of our professional English programme addresses the needs of more proficient speakers (upper intermediate and above). With your level of language you are now able to engage in high-stakes communication, such as decision making, conflict solving, planning and negotiations. Precise language use and the ability to flexibly and spontaneously respond to new ideas, questions and issues are fundamental at this level. They thus are what we will focus on in the course.
Please do the EfUS II course first unless you have extensive experience speaking English abroad or intensively on the job.

- explaining, planning and convincing in English
Lernziele: Der Kurs festigt und baut vorhandene gute Englischkenntnisse aus. Sie entwickeln Ihre Fähigkeit auch in schwierigen Situationen auf Englisch zu kommunizieren, flexibel zu agieren und reagieren.
Methoden: All English courses and workshops follow a communicative language teaching approach and integrate content and language learning.
