Existing partnerships

In addition to cooperating with European universities through the Erasmus programme, the University of Münster has concluded numerous bilateral agreements with other universities around the world. If you are interested in visiting one of our partner universities or would like to establish or intensify collaboration with foreign partners in your faculty, please contact the International Office for assistance.

Teaching assignments

Various funding programmes offer academic staff the chance to complete a teaching assignment abroad. Their main focus is on developing new teaching materials, encouraging the exchange of teaching content and methods, and providing intercultural and academic professional training. Teaching visits may also pave the way to future collaborations and joint research projects.

Additional funding opportunities

There are a variety of programmes which can promote academic mobility in your faculty and enhance the international character of your degree programmes. Please note that for most DAAD-funded programmes, funding lines exist for preparatory trips to potential partner institutions abroad. The WWU Internationalisation Fund also awards funding for organising joint meetings with strategic partners.
