Welcome to the OpenLab!

The OpenLab at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Sciences offers numerous possibilities for the research of both athletic as well as everyday movements in an interdisciplinary context. It consists of four main labs - the Motion Lab, the Neuromotor & Training Lab, the GRAIL, and the Movement Science Lab.

The OpenLab is equipped well and modern: Motion analysis systems and  force plates, equipments for the recording of brain activity, eye movements and muscular activity, or apparatuses such as a treadmill, driving simulator, or an ergometer. The lab enables experimental investigations of various research questions, reaching from precise individual movements to experiments with sport teams under realistic conditions.

On the following pages you find information regarding the lab's equipment, the latest projects, the LabTalks, as well as other events.
