Prof. Dr Martina Wagner-Egelhaaf
Prof. Dr Martina Wagner-Egelhaaf studied German studies and history at the University of Tübingen. She received her doctorate in modern German literature from the University of Tübingen and earned her habilitation at the University of Konstanz in 1994. From 1995 to 1998, Martina Wagner-Egelhaaf worked as a professor at the RUB in Bochum. Today, she is professor of modern German literary history in the German Studies Department of the University of Münster. Professor Wagner-Egelhaaf is a principal investigator in the Cluster of Excellence “Religion and Politics. Dynamics of Tradition and Innovation” and has been involved in various joint research projects at the University of Münster. She is also a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia Academy for Sciences and Arts and member of the DFG review board for literary studies.
