When Jan Graefe talked about wanting to "go to the museum" during his studies of prehistorical archaeology, ethnology and geology, he was not just talking about a leisure activity, but about his career path. At the Gustav Lübke Museum in Hamm, he gave guided tours and accompanied events. As a trainee, he worked on an exhibition about historical execution sites at the Neandertal Museum in Mettmann. Surrounded by books, parchments and artefacts, Jan Graefe now works at the university's Bible Museum, which he has headed as curator for five years.

The k3 stadterlebnisse GmbH & Co. KG is now active with the brand "k3 stadtführungen" not only in Münster, but also in 22 other German cities. And it all started with art. In 2007, Lars Köllner completed his studies in Art History, Cultural Studies, German Studies and Philosophy with a master degree. He applied to be a tour guide for the fourth edition of the Skulptur Projekte - unsuccessfully. But he did not let this discourage him...
He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, showmaster, presenter, speaker, music producer, arranger, collector and researcher — or, to sum it up, a born entertainer: Götz Alsmann studied German language and literature, Journalism and Musicology at the University of Münster from 1977 and was awarded a PhD in 1985. Since then, Götz Alsmann has presented music programmes on radio and TV. He received the Grimme Prize in 2000 for hosting the programme "Zimmer frei". Since 2011 he has taught the history of popular music as an honorary professor at the University of Münster.
Nike Matthiesen, a native of Dithmarschen, is a research assistant at the House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn. She laid the foundations for this in her studies at the WWU: from 2013, she earned a two-subject Bachelor's degree in History and Cultural and Social Anthropology, and completed her Master degree in History from 2016. Initially, she worked as a project manager at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Gütersloh, and since October 2020 she has been leading the project "Multimodal Mining of Contemporary Witness Interviews for the Cataloguing of Audiovisual Cultural Assets" at the House of History.
