In 2019, the students and teachers of the Academy of Music - how could it be otherwise for the 100th anniversary of its founding? - deal with the round birthday: 100 years of music is the motto.

A wild mix of 101 works composed or premiered between 1919 and 2019 can be heard in 10 concerts. Each concert is dedicated to a decade, i.e. from 1919 - 1928 to 2009 - 2019, but not necessarily in chronological order! A virtuoso mix of 100 years of pop and classical music with operetta melodies and chansons, music of classical modernism and contemporary music, oldies and current pop music, quiet moments and pack singing. In the anniversary year it may not be missing under any circumstances! To our great pleasure, our honorary professor Dr. Götz Alsmann will again lead through the festival program, at his side Christina Schaffer, voice student of the Academy of Music. They will present five concerts each on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday evening there will be a big "Rudelsingen" for ALL.
