Life is a concert of wishes!

You can easily book private and public concerts with students from the University of Music.

Students who have excelled in their studies or at competitions present their programmes in your home, at your family celebration, in your social institution or company: bring their concert to your home on the date of your choice and revive the tradition of house music!

Many of our students already have a lot of performance experience and of course they are also booked by professional event organisers. Thanks to the NEUE STERNE FÜR DAS MÜNSTERLAND cultural promotion programme, you can book your favourite programme for a public (!) concert in your venue and even receive a subsidy for it.

The musicians' fee is between €300 and €1,000, depending on the line-up (soloist/ensemble). All content-related and organisational details can be discussed directly with the musicians. You will find a contact person and contact details for each programme - the direct route to your desired concert!

Concerts with top young musicians in the region

Many of the approximately 500 students of the Münster University of Music, who come from more than 20 countries, have already won prizes in international competitions or are members of renowned ensembles and orchestras, perform in clubs and at festivals due to their artistic excellence. - They are NEW STARS and are to shine over the entire Münsterland region in the future!

To this end, the Münster University of Music, with the support of regional cultural funding from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, has been realizing the concert series NEUE STERNE FÜR DAS MÜNSTERLAND (NEW STARS FOR THE MUNSTERLAND) since 2020, which brings student bands and ensembles with pop and classical music to the cities and towns of the Münsterland region.

The content and organization of all performances are planned and carried out together with local partners. The concerts can be supplemented by workshops, student talks and other mediation formats. Novel forms of presentation and special venues, possibly including rehearsal stays of several days by ensembles in cultural venues in the Münsterland region, make the music students role models for the region's young musical talent.

The cultural transfer between the Münster University of Music and the Münsterland region will create new and long-term added value "in the area". We would like to thank the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for its funding partnership.

Season 2024

In the 2024 season, the artistic spectrum of our NEW STARS ranges from the most diverse varieties of vocal pop to crossover projects and an operetta for children to the broad field of classical music with interpretations of works by the most famous composers. Everything is represented in one to many members and is performed in a fresh and likeable, independent and virtuoso manner!
