The members of Mathematics Münster maintain close contacts with mathematicians worldwide. Official cooperation agreements now exist with some institutions. This consolidates and simplifies the exchange.

Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen

The department ranks among the best mathematical research institutions in Europe and has a very similar research profile to the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster. hey also work in areas such as topology, operator algebras, homotopy theory, and number theory. An official cooperation agreement was agreed at the beginning of 2024.

Instituto de Matemática e Estatística, Universidade de São Paulo

As part of the FAPESP-SPRINT funding programme, there is a twelve-month cooperation with the "Instituto de Matemática e Estatística" at the "Universidade de São Paulo" (IME-USP) in the field of geometry since the end of 2023. The cooperation serves to prepare joint research projects through mutual scientific visits and meetings.
