MMGS | Mathematics Münster Graduate School

The MMGS is the joint graduate program of the Cluster of Excellence "Mathematics Münster" and the mathematical institutes of the university of Münster. It offers an exceptional environment for pursuing a doctorate in Mathematics, distinguishing itself from traditional structured graduate programs by striking a balance between providing doctoral researchers the freedom to explore their own research interests and offering a broad range of specialized courses taught by distinguished professors.

With a vibrant, diverse community of doctoral researchers from around the world, and the long-term involvement of renowned scholars from Münster and beyond, the MMGS fosters an unparalleled atmosphere of academic growth and collaboration.
Doctoral Researchers are encouraged to build a network of professional and personal connections, horizontally across all mathematical disciplines, and vertically through all stages of the academic career. The MMGS enables them to participate in the scientific exchange both in and beyond Münster, offering its doctoral researchers the opportunity to grow scientifically and professionally through an ever expanding array of events. At the same time, it fosters a community that aims to be welcoming and inclusive.
