Dr. Eléna Pelzer has been working on the measurement of experience (CX, UX, EX) and digitalization for over ten years. She currently works as a Senior Consultant in Employee Listening at Mercer Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf, one of the world's leading HR consultancies. In her role, she manages projects to measure and improve the employee experience and employee engagement for well-known clients in the automotive, FMCG, financial services and healthcare sectors. Before joining Mercer, Eléna worked for five years in Singapore as a Senior Manager in the User Experience department at the publishing house John Wiley & Sons and as Head of Communications at the Goethe-Institut Singapore.

After completing her Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and German Studies at the University of Tübingen and her Master's degree in Communication Science at the University of Münster, Eléna completed her doctorate on the influence of digitalization in cultivation theory at the Department of Communication at the University of Münster (2021). She has also published numerous book chapters and journal articles on conjoint analysis, think-aloud listening and canonical correlation analysis and has won several awards for her work, including Best Paper Awards from the ICA (2021; 2022), Gold Media Award (2017) and the Paul F. Lazarsfeld Prize from the DGPuK (2016).
