Brian Denman ist derzeit Gastwissenschaftler am Fachbereich Erziehung der Universität Stockholm in Schweden. Er ist Associate Professor für Lehren, Lernen und Bewertung an der University of New England in Armidale, Australien, wo er angewandtes Leadership und vergleichende und internationale Erziehungswissenschaft lehrt. Brian hat zahlreiche akademische Ämter bekleidet, darunter das des Generalsekretärs von GlobalCIE und der World Comparative Education Society (WCCES), UNESCO-Fellow, des UNECo-Ratsmitglieds (Board of Trustees), des Präsidenten der Australian and New Zealand and Comparative and International Education Society (ANZCIES) und des Chefredakteurs des International Education Journal: Comparative Perspectives.
