MünsterXchange

Our MünsterXchange programme aims to establish an intergenerational and intercultural network. Since 2021 we have been bringing together international researchers and local residents from the Münsterland, with their store of life experience, providing opportunities for exchange.

Regular meetings offer a basis for both sides to get to know each other. Emerging researchers from all over the world share their view with people in retirement and, at the same time, benefit from their rich store of experience from (but not only from) the world of work. How the meetings run in detail is entirely in the hands of those taking part. Joint excursions, exchanging professional know-how, coaching – a lot of things are possible.

I have made friends for life through MünsterXchange. I can stay active myself, learn about other cultures and provide support for colleagues from my field of work as they embark on their professional careers. Incredibly rewarding!
Dr. Gabriela Falkenberg

MünsterXchange creates space for:

  • the promotion of intergenerational networking and friendships
  • looking at things differently and gaining a better understanding of the other generation

  • greater solidarity and empathy for one another

  • exchanges of (specialist) knowledge, expertise and perceptions

  • new opportunities for learning and new stimuli (coaching)
