We are intensively involved in internal and external networks in order to safeguard the high quality of training for doctoral researchers and postdocs at the University of Münster.
Internal partner institutions
Providing support for emerging researchers cuts across all the faculties, as well as diverse institutions at our University, with the aim of moving them forward. Münster CERes creates interfaces, contributes ideas for quality assurance and supports decentralised institutions and projects. Many of the offers available at CERes and at the University are only possible as a result of close cooperation and of combining specialist knowledge in centralised and decentralised institutions in the administrative and academic sectors.
We have constant exchanges with the doctoral researchers’ representative body and with the postdoc network. As far as training goes, we work closely with SAFIR research funding support, the Münster Center for Open Science (MüCOS), the Service Point for Publications (University and State Library, the English Support Service, the Writing-Reading Centre or for example the Career Service and the Equal Opportunities Office – as well, of course, as the Centre for Teaching in Higher Education (ZHL) and the Human Resources Development. As far as international topics are concerned, we are very closely networked with the Welcome Centre at the International Office, the Brazil Centre and the Centre for Europe. We also collaborate with many other institutions such as the REACH Start-up Center or the Centre for the Philosophy of Science (ZfW).
Something that is of particular interest to us is collaboration with colleagues in the faculties, the specialist institutions for promoting graduates, and the “Mathematics Münster” and “Religion & Politics” Clusters of Excellence.
