Welcome Week

At the beginning of each semester, the International Office of the University of Münster organises a Welcome Week for all ERASMUS participants and other exchange students. The programme introduces you to the important facilities of the University and explains the formalities of academics and life in Münster. The Buddy Programme offers you the chance to team up with a student mentor who can answer your questions and help you get acquainted with Münster and the University.

Recreational activities for exchange students

The ERASMUS team organises numerous recreational activities every semester to help exchange students become familiar with the University and meet other German and international students. All upcoming activities are announced in advance on the ERASMUS Team Facebook page, which also includes contact data of exchange students currently studying in Münster.

Sports and culture

The University Sports department offers courses in more than one hundred types of sport every semester. The University has a wide selection of cultural activities to choose from as well – student choirs, orchestras, theatre groups and even a student-run radio station. Not to speak of numerous exhibitions, concerts and readings that take place on a regular basis.
