“Preußen Münster in Westphalia, tradition for (over) 100 years. Sometimes on the summit, sometimes in the valley, pure joy and also torment. Celebrations celebrated, mourning, games lost, battles fought. But the eagle will always fly on, in defeats and also in victories” – SC Preußen Münster cannot be described much more accurately than the lines of the “Schlappn” song. Tradition, passion and emotions meet black-white-green football in the Preußen-stadium, which has been attracting thousands of Preußen fans to Hammer Straße every match day for decades.
In addition to the first team, the youth department and the U23 of SC Preußen also enjoy a high status. The young talents, led by the inexhaustible work of the trainers, deliver remarkable performances and hold their own against the well-known competition from the surrounding area - despite significantly worse infrastructural conditions. In addition, talents from our own ranks continue to make the leap into professional football. And thanks to the University of Münster's support for top athletes, both young talents and professionals have the chance to build a second mainstay alongside football through studying. In addition, the SCP has been carrying out performance diagnostics in collaboration with the university team for years in order to control training in the best possible way.
