Gender studies in science and engineering sciences

While in humanities and social sciences a reflection on the relationship between gender relations and academic culture of knowledge is established, this is only partially the case in the objective and neutral STEM field. In particular, the question of the gendering of scientific subject cultures, their subjects of knowledge and the practices of gaining knowledge as well as their influence on gender inequalities is still in its infancy.
