Research

The working group is part of an extension of the chair of Prof. Dr. Cornelia Denz in "Experimental Physics and Gender Studies in Physics". This should be taken as an opportunity to strengthen the gender studies in physics. In addition to the already explored issue of gender equality, the topics of gender equity in career development and gender content research are central areas of research. Here, new territory is entered, since gender research in physics was missing in Germany. In cooperation with other institutions and research associations, a wide variety of empirical methods is used, we develope exploratory approaches and test new measures for the development of a gender-appropriate culture of physics.
