On May 19, the podcast “hr-iNFO Himmel und Erde“ (produced by the German radio station Hessischer Rundfunk) focused on the “ambivalent relationship between humans and animals”. Theologian and ZIN member Professor Anne Käfer participated as a guest.

She explained her perspective on the position of animals in Christianity and discussed the extent to which the commandment to love one’s neighbour and the prohibition of killing as central guidelines for Christians can also be applied to their relationship with animals.
