Event: „Symposium – Perspectives on Nature Conservation“ on 11 April in Münster

On April 11, 2019 at 3 pm the event “Symposium – Perspektiven im Naturschutz. 10 Jahre BBN-Landesgruppe NRW” (“Symposium – Perspectives in Nature Conservation. 10 years BBN-regional group NRW”) will take place at the Institute for Landscape Ecology (ILÖK) of the University of Münster. The symposium is jointly organized by the Nature and Environmental Protection Academy NRW (NUA), the ILÖK and the NRW group of the Federal Association for Vocational Nature Conservation (BBN).

The event, which will last until 18: 15, is divided up into three sessions. Whereas the first session is dedicated to challenges of the new protest culture for nature conservation, the second session focuses on current challenges of nature conservation in New Zealand against the background of increasing globalization. Lastly, the third session deals with the tasks and goals of nature conservation in NRW until 2030. Before the official start of the symposium, a meeting ofthe BBN Regional Group NRW including representatives of the Federal Association will take place at 2 p.m.; guests are invited to join the meeting.
