Today, ZIN spokeswoman Prof'in Doris Fuchs takes part in the opening hearing of the project "Nachhaltige Entwicklung im Licht von Laudato si'. Die sozial-ökologische Transformation und der Beitrag der Kirche" in Berlin. The project is carried out by the expert group "Weltwirtschaft und Sozialethik" of the German Bishops' Conference.
Within the framework of the initial hearing, the project’s topics will be determined in dialogue with experts. As one of these experts, Prof. Doris Fuchs conducts a workshop focusing on the church's contribution to the socio-ecological transformation with a view to tensions between sufficiency and efficiency.
