The ZIN is growing…and welcomes three new members in 2018
The ZIN welcomes three new members who will enrich the sustainability research at the center. Jun.-Prof. Antonia Graf, Prof. Judith Könemann and Prof. Samuel Mössner joined the current ten members from seven departments at the ZIN.
Prof. Antonia Graf is junior professor for Global Environmental Governance at the Institute for Political Science since 2016. Her research areas are a.o. participation in and acceptance of the energy transition, Global Environmental Governance and International Political Economy. Currently she is head of the junior research group DynaMo, a research project focusing on urban mobility.
Prof. Judith Könemann is professor for Religious Pedagogy and Educational Research at the Institute for Catholic Theology and Didactics since 2009. She is doing research inter alia on religious education, educational justice and religion in the public sphere. Her current research projects focus on youth social work at all-day schools, diversity in the curriculum and identity policy of catholic actors in the social and educational sector.
Prof. Samuel Mössner is professor for local regional and national development at the Institute for Geography since March 2017. His research focus lies on sustainable urban development, Governance, spatial planning and planning conflicts. In many of his research projects, he dealt with sustainable development in the “Green City” Freiburg (Germany).
Board and members of the ZIN were happy to welcome the three professors at a meeting of members. The research areas of the three new members will broaden the scope of the ZIN and strengthen its interdisciplinary research approach.
