New Young Research Fellow: Tristan Ozuch
Dr. Tristan Ozuch (MIT) joins our Cluster as Young Research Fellow. His research is focused on geometric analysis and particularly on Einstein manifolds and Ricci flows. During his stay in Münster from 1 July to 8 August 2021, he will work on a joint project with Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Hein. "I chose to become a Young Research Fellow because of the impressive community in geometric analysis at Münster University and the amazing visiting conditions," says Tristan Ozuch. "I look forward to interacting with the local world experts in my field and to visit Germany and Münster for the first time."
Since September 2020, Tristan Ozuch is a C.L.E. Moore Instructor at MIT (Cambridge, MA, USA). Before that he received his PhD in Mathematics at École Normale Supérieure in Paris. In addition to his work on singularity formation in the Ricci flow, he achieved an internationally acclaimed breakthrough in his dissertation on the structure of the boundary of the moduli space of Einstein metrics on 4-manifolds.
