Svenja Boberg is a communication scientist who studied Journalism- and Communication Science, Anthropology and Political Science in Berlin and Münster. She worked as a student assistant and tutor at the Institute for Communication Science (IfK) at the University of Münster. Since 2016 she is a member of the chair of online communication of the IfK focusing on automated content analysis of user comments in the BMBF-funded projects “Propstop – Identification, Detection and Countering of propaganda disseminations via online media” and „HybriD – Real-time detection and identification of hybrid Disinformation campaigns in online media“. Currently she works in the DFG-project „Social Issue Emergence in the Hybrid Media System“. Her dissertation is about analyzing dynamics of viral social issue debates on social media.
