To set up sciebo, please refer to the CIT instructions. If you would like to install the client on a domain computer, you will find the installation option in the Software Centre.
Are you working on a computer outside the university network and would like to integrate your network drives or establish a remote connection to your university computer? Then you first need a VPN connection to identify yourself as a member of the University of Münster's IT system.
Important: In order to increase IT security, the Cisco VPN client was switched to two-factor authentication in January 2023. OTP registration is set up in the IT portal. Important: First create a one-time password generator under ‘One-time passwords (OTP)’ before you switch on two-factor security. Otherwise, you will lock yourself out of the system as far as possible.
