- I receive a message that a software product needs to be updated, but I do not have the authorisation to carry out the update.
Standard software is updated centrally via the IVV1 Software Centre or offered to you accordingly. However, as the update must first be adapted for deployment via this server, there may be a delay between the manufacturer's release and our deployment. Very special software products that are not offered via our Software Centre do not receive automatic updates. In this case, you must contact us by telephone to carry out the installation. - Can I use Citavi on my MacOS?
No, it is not possible to use Citavi on a MacOS system. Citavi is a Windows-only programme. - I cannot reach IVV1 by telephone.
IVV1-Geisteswissenschaften has a hotline number 24611. Outside of our hotline hours or if all lines are busy, your call will be forwarded to an answering machine so that you can inform us of your request. Please leave your request, your computer name and contact information and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can also send us an e-mail. - I can (no longer) log on to my work computer.
This can have various causes. The most common causes are - You have entered an incorrect password too often. Your account will then be temporarily blocked. Wait at least half an hour and then try again.
Important: If you try to connect the network drives several times in a row without success, your account may also be temporarily blocked. - You no longer have logon rights because you are not in the correct group. Please check your group memberships in the IT portal and then get in touch with us.
