Colloquium on crime and criminal justice
The 7th Kolloquium zu Kriminalität und Strafjustiz in der Neuzeit (Colloquium on Crime and Criminal Justice in the Modern Era) will take place in Dresden from 8 to 10 June 2022 and is entitled Kriminalität, Recht und Räumlichkeit (Crime, Law and Spatiality). For three days, the participants will intensively discuss the significance of the category of spatiality for the history of crime and legal history. The lectures will focus on different regions from all over Europe and span the epochs of the early modern period and modernity up to the 21st century. The colloquium is organised by Dr Jeannette Kamp (Leiden), Benjamin Seebröker (Münster) and Professor Volker Zimmermann (Munich/Düsseldorf) in cooperation with the Käte Hamburger Kolleg "Einheit und Vielfalt im Recht | Legal Unity and Pluralism".
