Research associate
Anna Plaksin, born 1986, studied musicology, media education and philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and concluded her studies with a Magister Artium degree in 2011. She worked as a graduate assistant between 2011 and 2012 at the Institute for Musicology of Mainz University, and from 2012 to 2013 at the Digital Academy for Science and Literature Mainz. Between 2013 and 2014, she worked as a research assistant at the University Library in Mainz with a focus on historical cultural studies. 2020 she finished her PhD dissertation on „Models for a computer-based stemmatic analysis of mensural music. Empirical text research in the context of phylogenetic methods“ at the Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies of Technical University Darmstadt.
She was a research associate at Max-Weber Foundation from 2015 to 2017 and from 2019 until 2021. She was responsible for the development of the technical infrastructure for the CMO project.
