Studied History and Political Science at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and Ecole nationale des Chartes Paris, graduated in 2015 (Master of Arts, focus on "Auxiliary Historical Sciences"). From 2016 to 2021, Julian Schulz was a research assistant at the IT Group Humanities, LMU Munich, where he worked first in the project "DHVLab: Digital Humanities Virtual Laboratory" (2016–2018), then in the collaborative project "eHumanities - interdisciplinary: research data management Bavaria" (2018–2021). In 2020–2021, he also served as research data manager in the Collaborative Research Center 1369 "Vigilance Cultures". Since December 2021, Julian Schulz has been a Digital Humanities and Research Data Management Officer at the Max Weber Foundation's office in Bonn.
