Call for applications for the DAAD Support Programme for Brazilian Doctoral Candidates

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced that submissions is open for a support programme for Brazilian doctoral students who are already scholarship holders in Brazil. The aim of the programme is to provide additional funding to enable the beneficiaries to carry out part of their thesis research in Germany.

Application deadline: 31 October 2024 for research stays from May 2025 to January 2026.

This support is in addition to the national scholarships awarded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) or one of the 23 participating State Research Funding Foundations (FAP). The selected students will be able to choose from a variety of German academic institutions, such as universities and laboratories, to carry out research essential for the development of their thesis for a period of two to six months.
