lists especially German-language but also international contributions from collective works and journals as well as research projects and media on the subject of sports science and thus offers a good starting point to work on more specific sports science topics.
SPORTDiscus with full text
is a comprehensive bibliographic database of the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIR, Ottawa/Canada) for sports, fitness and related disciplines such as sports law, health, nutrition and tourism. The database includes over 750,000 data sets and evaluates primarily Anglo-American journals and monographs dating back as far as 1800. It also includes records of about 20,000 doctoral dissertations. Furthermore, it contains full texts since 1985 from more than 670 journals indexed in SPORTDiscus. 299 of these are not included in other databases like Academic Search, Health Source or Biomedical Reference Collection.
Scopus
is a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database for research literature and high-quality online sources (peer-reviewed). Various tools are available for tracking, analysis and visualization of research information concerning natural sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts and humanities.

The full-text platform meinUnterricht.de holds about 15,000 quality-checked teaching materials for almost all school subjects, school types and levels available in digital form for downloading or printing. In addition, an editor enables the transfer of text passages and images into individual worksheets.
