On October 8, 1969, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Sportpsychologie (asp) was ceremoniously founded in seminar room 2 (Ho 02). This historic event marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in German sports psychology that continues to inspire researchers and students to this day.

As part of the anniversary symposium, a sign commemorating the founding of the asp was unveiled at this memorable location. It should not only serve as a reminder, but also as a symbol of asp's continuous development and commitment to promoting the connection between science and practice in the field of sport psychology.
