History of Equality at WWU from 1908 to 2021.
March 8 is International Women's Day. It symbolizes the existing discrimination that women face on a daily basis, but also the successes they have achieved over the centuries. The day shows which battles still have to be fought and at the same time makes us grateful for what others have already achieved for us. In this spirit, we would like to invite you to join us on a journey through time, through the history of the WWU and the women's movements in Germany and worldwide, starting with the first female students at the University of Münster in 1908 and ending with the firmly institutionalized equality work at the WWU in the present day.
