Conferences and evening talks held by the Cluster of Excellence cancelled until the end of May – Lecture series “Dynamics of Religiosity” also cancelled for the time being

In accordance with the University of Münster’s corona regulations, the Cluster of Excellence “Religion and Politics” has cancelled all conferences, public lectures and evening talks that had been planned for the period up to 31 May 2020. However, basic research in the projects of the Cluster of Excellence will continue as far as is feasible. The academic and public events that have to be cancelled in the summer semester include:

  • 11-12 May 2020 Evening talk and masterclass, Speakers: Jean and John Comaroff, Harvard University, Organization: Dorothea Schulz, Ethnology
  • 19 May 2020 Lecture series “Dynamics of Religiosity”, Speaker: Hartmann Tyrell, Bielefeld University, Organization: Nils Jansen, Speaker of the Cluster of Excellence
  • 26 May 2020 Lecture series “Dynamics of Religiosity”, Speaker: Barbara Stollberg-Rilinger, Cluster of Excellence and Institute for Advanced Study Berlin, Organization: Nils Jansen, Speaker of the Cluster of Excellence
  • 16 June 2020 Lecture "Religion und Kultur: Ägypten - Israel - Abendland", Jan Assmann
