Wireless LAN

In many places of the university you can use the wireless network on your laptop and access the internet. Since the end of 2006 there is an improved wireless network in operation, where data traffic is encrypted. You will find guides for setting up the wireless network at the WWU IT:

Wirelss LAN for visitors

With the eduroam-project members of other universities, that are part of eduroam, can use the wireless networt of the university of Münster. The other way around, members of the WWU can use the wireless networkes of all those unisversities. You will find more information at the WWU IT.
