Ghostscript is an interpreter of the PostScript (PS) page description language and the Portable Document Format (PDF). Ghostscript provides a programming interface with functions to render and print PostScript and PDF content. The main purposes are to rasterize or render such page description files for displaying or printing document pages, and to convert between PostScript and PDF files.
