DAAD Opens Applications for Research Stays in Germany for Brazilian Professors and Scientists

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is now accepting applications for its research stay program in Germany, specifically designed for Brazilian professors and scientists. Funded by federal resources, this program offers the opportunity to develop research projects at universities or research institutes in Germany, with stays ranging from one to three months.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must be affiliated with a higher education institution or research institute in Brazil. The primary goal of the program is to strengthen academic ties between Brazilian and German researchers.

Criteria:
The key selection criteria include:

Academic Background and Recent Publications: These must be well-documented in a curriculum vitae and accompanied by a list of publications.

Research Project: The project should be convincing and well-planned.

Benefits:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of approximately 2,000 euros, as well as an airfare allowance, ensuring the necessary support to focus fully on their research projects.
