Second meeting of the Brazilian diaspora in NRW
In cooperation with the RWTH Aachen University and the Brazilian Embassy in Berlin, the Apoena Network of Brazilian Researchers in Germany invites all researchers interested in German-Brazilian research cooperation as well as advanced students to the second network meeting in North Rhine-Westphalia on 18 October 2024.
The meeting offers valuable networking opportunities and provides information on funding opportunities from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH).
There will also be a panel discussion on German-Brazilian relations, bringing together different aspects of relations between the two countries in the year of the 200th anniversary of German immigration to Brazil. The participants are Brazilian researchers from the fields of history, political science and law who are currently conducting research in Germany. The discussion will be followed by a cocktail reception and a social gathering.
Participation is free of charge. However, as places are limited, please register for the event as soon as possible and before 30 September at the following link: https://bit.ly/2_diaspora_nrw.
