AvH call for applications: International scholarship on climate protection

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) has recently published the call “International Climate Protection Fellowship”. The call for applications is aimed at two target groups:

1. prospective leaders, who can apply for a one-year research-related project in Germany as part of their fellowship.

2. postdocs, who can apply for a 12 to 24-month fellowship, i.e. long-term academic research.

Projects should focus on climate change mitigation, adaptation strategies, ecosystem and biodiversity conservation or sustainable use of seas and oceans. Sustainability topics related to natural resources, resource-efficient consumption or urban development are also welcome.

The deadline for applications is 1 February 2023.

Interested parties can obtain detailed information about this call on 15 November 2022 (1.30pm to 2.30pm CET (09.30am to 10.30am BRT) at the virtual information event. No prior registration is necessary.
